Job Description:
CAD Manager/IT Support Looking to welcome a 5+ years experienced professional in AutoCAD/Civil-3D application and/or management, someone with at least an associates degree in drafting, civil design, or a degree in civil engineering, significant experience with PCs, including Windows functionality, Microsoft Office applications, and we prefer a candidate experienced in server and networking operations, management, and troubleshooting. Our ideal candidate can meet the following expectations: CAD/GIS & project support duties: AutoCad/Civil-3D & Arc-GIS software deployment, support, training, and license management Comfortable with developing and implementing office-wide CAD standards Comfortable with developing civil engineering standards – project design templates and best practices Support engineering project designs such as grading, earthwork analysis, road profiles, utility layouts, survey data reduction, etc. IT/ Networking duties: Hardware & software support for office networks and users MS Office licensing, installations and software/user support Monitor/Maintain file servers (track status and advise of pending actions required) Maintain license managers Responsible for maintaining file server backups New user support – Hardware and software installation and deployment The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. He/She must be able to track their own deadlines and responsibilities without supervision, and must be accountable for their work product.
