This is a direct hire onsite position in Houston, Texas.
Pay Ranges between $120,000 to $130,000, This position can compensate more depending on the additional skill set that can be more valuable to the enterprise, don’t hesitate to apply if you’re a strong technical fit for this position.
"The IT Security Analyst position is responsible for leading investigations, responses, and remediation of cybersecurity incidents and findings. The role requires developing and implementing comprehensive security solutions and programs aligned with the NIST Cyber Security Framework. The analyst will evaluate the organizational security posture, report on any gaps, and enforce compliance. The ideal candidate must be autonomous, have exceptional problem-solving skills, and have a strong sense of ownership of assigned responsibilities.
Key responsibilities include operating and enhancing security operations platforms, managing the vulnerability assessment and remediation program, supporting incident response, administering identity access management components, maintaining NIST CSF compliance, collaborating with third parties and business units, evaluating IT implementations, leading security projects, staying current with industry trends, and producing reports for executive management.
A Bachelor's degree in Information Security/Systems, Computer Science, or a related field and 3+ years of IT security experience is required.
Key skills include advanced identity and access management, extended detection and response, intermediate knowledge of NIST CSF and other frameworks, vulnerability assessment, SIEM technologies, and project management.
