PHP Developer ( Relocation Assistance Available )

Candidate must reside in the state of Maine.

We are seeking an experienced PHP Developer to further contribute to a growing company. This position is responsible for designing and coding functional programs and applications to support our clients' individualized requirements. The ideal candidate will have object oriented programming experience, AWS knowledge and be able to translate complex client problems and concerns into practical solutions. The candidate must also be a strong, creative problem solver who is passionate about addressing client needs through application development.   • Produce quality, readable, and maintainable code; clearly communicate code with both technical and non-technical co-workers
  • Database experience including light database administration
  • Integrate with third-party and internal API's and services
  • Display a positive, helpful attitude to help create a friendly environment for clients and co-workers
  • Ensure the growth of the business and be committed to the company's success

The ideal candidate (skills, education, requirements):

  • Have a Bachelor's Degree or comparable work experience
  • Have 3 – 5 years PHP/LAMP stack development experience
  • Demonstrate an understanding of complex data formats (JSON, XML, Multi-record, etc.)
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience and conceptual understanding of processes/tools (S3, RDS, CodeCommit, AWS SDK, YAML, etc.)
  • Have a passion for coding with strong technical aptitude
  • Have strong organizational, planning, and project management skills
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrate superior interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Have a strong work ethic with a "can do; will do" attitude
  • Thrive in a team environment and be a positive team player
