Systems Administrator ( Active Directory / Exchange / VMware / VDI / Cisco )

This position requires the ability to deploy and maintain servers, networks, and data storage with activities including building, configuration, upgrading hardware and operating software as well as utilizing common enterprise tools. Administer systems security access and risk mitigation. Maintain and administer Incident Reporting processes and tools to improve technology performance. As well as providing critical application support for systems both on-premises and in the cloud. While also providing some front-line support to end users.
Provide Tier Two support; diagnose and quickly resolve problems in highly critical production environment. Document issues and elevate based on criticality.
Develop and maintain metrics from Incident Reporting systems and for other key technology processes.
Coordinate incident resolution with external partners and service providers.
Analyze Incident Reports and data, determine root causes, recommend improvements to reduce incidences and increase stability, and implement for assigned areas of responsibility.
Maintain knowledge base documentation that can be used for cross training.
Coordinate technology procurement requests, vendor quotes, approvals, and order placements.
Fully support enterprise policies and standards of performance excellence by delivering exemplary services to all requestors.
Communicate critical status of issues and activities to senior team members and management in a timely and clear manner.
Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements where needed.
Follow change management processes.
Assist in new product evaluation, capacity, and resource planning.
Train others in complex issue resolution and new technologies to be implemented.
Assist in development of disaster recovery strategy and procedures. Actively participate in system recovery activities.
Assist in the development and maintenance of information security policy and procedures.
Support organizations cybersecurity initiatives.
Maintain confidential and sensitive information.
Perform hardware builds, configuration, and maintenance according to established standards for server, storage, and networking equipment.
Plan, test and implement new operation system releases, software upgrades, and information security tools and updates.
Install, patch management , and maintain a variety of products including Active Directory, Exchange, VMware, VDI, help with Cisco hardware network design, Operating Systems, as well as other software both onsite and in the cloud.
