Vice President of Business Development ( Sales/ Commercial Facilities )

We seek a seasoned VP of Business Development to be the primary management-level client-facing contact between us and our client, who strategically increases organizational growth by visiting clients to drive base business expansion.

This position is highly visible, entrepreneurial role and a key lead in driving companywide sales strategy. The position will focus on driving new customer acquisition through personal interactions with current or developed networks of top organizational leaders in various settings.

We seek an individual who will know the commercial real estate industry from both operational and sales perspectives and have creative and analytic abilities, high energy, self-motivation, persistence, a positive outlook, and the ability to focus on a specific strategy, as these are essential to success here.

Other requirements:
*The role requires professional presentation skills and executive presence.
*Understanding of target and existing accounts and approach in decision-making processes.
*This individual will ensure continued service offering penetration and profitability of assigned clients through a proactive contact strategy, build rapport with clients focusing primarily field-based to resolve questions regarding products, services or pricing to enhance client satisfaction and maximize profitability.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Research and analyze prospect/client goals and objectives
Develop insights that provide opportunities to teach the prospect/client new approaches to reach their goals
Deliver client-focused presentations that address client objectives and generate two-way dialogue
Build specific sales strategies for prospects: goals, competitive position, client relations and actions to advance sales opportunities
Develop and manage relationships of an existing client base within designated territory to support execution of growth initiatives
Upsell to current accounts to increase profitability by increasing scope or cross selling additional services
Document client visits with respect to risks, opportunity and relevant actions plans while forecasting sales activity and revenue achievement using a sales automation/client management platform, while creating satisfied and reference able customers.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field
3-5 years of relevant industry experience in public and private sector
Previous selling, marketing or leadership experience
Strong organizational, time management, and leadership skills are required
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, client's customers, and support team members
Experience with and knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
Contract-managed service experience is preferred
Excellent written and oral communication skills
